Annie is such a sweet girl. She stood very nicely for photos and seemed to enjoy all the attention she was getting. She seems to have a quiet/curious disposition and good temperament. Four year old red chestnut gelding, 16.3+ hands, excellent disposition and personality, lightly raced.  No vices.  Well broke under saddle.  Left front leg bowed slightly in Sept 2008, before racing career.  Received full stem cell therapy from UC Davis, with one year lay-up.  Racing career at Golden Gate Fields in Spring 2010, included one win and one third place.  Leg was ultra-sounded after last race, and tendon found to be free of holes or tears.  Copy of the ultrasound is available at Victory Rose Thoroughbreds in Vacaville, where he is stabled.

He is currently at our ranch in Hollister, he is acclimated to ranch living, lives in 24 x 100' pipe corral with other horses on either side.  We need to find a home for him, too many horses with more racing talent than he has.

Big boned, nice mover. Good sized. Sensible under saddle, We have taken him out on the trail on a trial ride and he was well behaved and quiet with the other horse.

Has last raced in 07, we picked him up at auction, while in training he tore a tendon, he was ultra sounded, laid up, cleared by vet via ultrasound for return to work.  We have more horses with more potential that we need to focus on. He does have an inoperable chip in a  front ankle that currently does not affect his performance.  Xrays and vet consult available. He is sound.  You can see from the photos he was pin fired...this was before we picked him up, I do not have the history on that.  He's an easy keeper.

This horse has lots of personality, confident, loves attention, clips, ties and trailers. We think he'd make a good trail horse or dressage horse.

Irish Delight is a chestnut mare who has been under saddle for a couple of months. She is 11 yo, approx. 16hh, has a good mind and sweet in-your-pocket personality.  Delight loves attention and being groomed. She is sound for riding, is a very cute mover and with more training should make and excellent trail or pleasure mount.

Irish has told us in no uncertain terms that she would like a home in a large paddock or pasture with a friend. She is not happy living in a stall or similiar small space as she will spend her day weaving.

Affectionatley nicknamed Scooby by one of our volunteers. Scooby is currently cruising the ranch with a 12 year old girl. Is tolerating dogs, goats, sheep and bicycles and is now trotting under saddle. Scooby is really looking forward to his own dedicated caregiver as he does best when he gets to know you a bit.
