PA-T1825-08 Proud Diva, 2006 chestnut mare, 15.3 hands. This one could be a Pin-Up Model! What a looker; this girl has chrome, charisma and a nicely balanced build to entice riders of ALL disciplines. We think she’ll particularly excel in the Hunter Ring, as she has a nice, ground-covering stride that is low to the ground. Fortunately, she has a personality to match her build; a totally sweet and attentive girl, she seems like a sensible and willing type. Her owner, who is in charge of her daily care, treats this girl like the princess she is… including breakfast in bed – every day, Diva is brought muffins and cereal for a hearty breakfast! This little mooch loves all sorts of treats! It’s obvious her owner adores this mare and is very dedicated to finding her the perfect home where she’ll be appreciated and loved as much as she does now… and with this girl’s looks and movement, people should be standing in line! Please note, Diva does have some minute rounding of her left front ankle; it does not bother her in the least and should never be an issue. She raced the day before her listing and trotted out extremely SOUND for her listing! $1000. Erin McElwee 717-439-1455. |

PA-T1824-08 General Song, 2007 bay colt, 15.2 hands. Prince Charming! What subtle beauty this one offers; a big, bulky guy with nice structure, it’s easy to get excited over this one. We’ll still go down saying his personality is what stood out the most to us. Unbelievably kind, with a “teddy bear” disposition, we could have stood and petted this guy all day! His personality transfers under saddle, where his trainer says he has always been “dead quiet” to ride. An Elusive Quality son, sire of SMARTY JONES, we think this guy could certainly be sought after for BREEDING. Not studdy or mouthy in any shape or form, we also are confident this guy would make a lovely gelding! With only 4 starts, this one has next to no wear or tear, he just isn’t training well on the dirt. He was vetted last week and was given the clear as being 100% sound! Please note, General was pin-fired previously and has similar marks on his left rear hock, which may have been freeze firing. Ready for a new home TODAY! $400, with special considerations to a good home. Heather O’Hearn 410-241-1971. |

PA-T1823-08 Our Lucky Leo, 2008 bay gelding, 15.1 ½ hands. Some kind of WONDERFUL! What a super sweet fellow this one is. Leo has a fantastic hunter build and the personality to suit kids and amateurs. With his level head carriage, nice, round hind end and good proportions, we expect him to be quite the mover! But some things are too good to be true; unfortunately, this nice, young horse has a slab fracture. It has been thoroughly diagnosed, the fracture has not displaced, so a full recovery is expected. The vet has x-rays available for your review, but his rehab will include four months stall rest (September – December), followed by restricted turnout, building up to full riding. His rehab requires no special skills; take him home today, groom and fuss over him until spring when he’ll be ready to go back to work and you’ll have a fantastic three year old partner. No starts with this one. ADORABLE! $400, with special considerations to a good home. Heather O’Hearn 410-241-1971. |

PA-T1822-08 Alkys Boy, 2002 bay gelding, 15.3 hands. What a TANK! This is one BEEFY, bulky boy who could pass as a Quarter Horse, both in build and personality. An honest sort, with a kind expression, we really can’t critique this one. He’s been with his current trainers for three years and they just rave about him. In fact, they trust this guy so much, they use him for pony rides for their 5 year old grand-daughter! Not many racing fit horses can do that job! This one clearly has the make-up to be a fantastic kid’s or amateur’s horse... and a cute mover to boot! We’re told he’s EASY, EASY, EASY – easy on the ground/sensible, easy under tack/anyone can gallop and easy to enjoy/he has a wicked cute personality! Please note, Alky has some rounding of his front ankles; not an issue, they are set, superficial and should never pose an issue. Gotta love him! $1000, negotiable to a great home. Ben West 717-774-2980, Becky 717-497-6928 or e-mail ben.west@verizon.net. |
PA-T1821-08 Becca’s Dancer, 2004 chestnut mare, 15.2 hands. Truly ELEGANT! This is a special mare; a HOMEBRED and the namesake of the trainer’s daughter, you know this one has been fussed over since day 1. You’ll get a complete history with this girl and the assurance that she has had top notch care her entire life. A mare who LOVES to WORK, we think this one will be happiest in an Eventing or Jumping career where she will be challenged and appreciated for her drive and intelligence! A very nice, flowy mover, she clearly lives up to her name and should score extremely well in the Dressage phase of Eventing! She impresses as a POWERHOUSE, athletic and scopey, with a very sharp, bright personality. Please note, this girl does have some rounding of her left front ankle, but it should never be an issue, she’s been training SOUND on it for quite some time! A very memorable girl, her family insists on finding her THE perfect home! $1000, with special considerations to a great home. Becky 717-497-6928, Ben West 717-774-2980 or e-mail ben.west@verizon.net. |

You are looking at a horse with a nicely angulated hind end, a big, commanding shoulder and great proportions, making him a solid project! On top of that, this guy only has six starts, so next to no wear or tear; he’s just too slow to make racing a career. PA-T1819-08 Run Jickster Run, 2005 bay gelding, 16.0+ hands. Be still my heart… when you see this one move you will be MESMERIZED! Standing still he looks like an acceptable prospect; but seriously, when this horse moves, so will your jaw… ABSOLUTELY jump up and down GORGEOUS! We’re thinking this one will excel in Eventing, Dressage and Jumping, as he has a soft, elegant suspension and a huge, effortless, ground-covering stride. Jickster has done well for his trainer so a great home is of utmost importance to his trainer, no more racing for this one! We’re told he has always been SOUND, with absolutely no problems! To add to that, his groom is very fond of him, saying he has a very playful, fun personality. How could you say “no”? This is a horse dreams are made of: a big, athletic gelding, with fantastic movement, a sweet personality and priced to sell! Must see to appreciate, call today! $1500. PA-T1818-08 T T Gourmet, 2005 chestnut mare, 16.1 ½ hands. LEGGY! This girl is a tall drink of water with a compact, powerful build and a lot of flash. Unfortunately, T T had a lousy week after having an accident on the Equisizer two days prior to her listing in which she scraped up her face and hind legs, as well as torqueing her right front ankle. She was a little tired and sore for her listing; her trainer said she’s always been a super sound horse, but the accident took a lot out of her. She should be feeling herself by the end of the week and we suspect she’ll be moving soundly again. In fact, her trainer said that she has always had a great way of moving with low to the ground, hunter-style movement... PLUS everyone who has ridden her, loved her – very sensible! Please note, T T does have textbook osselets on both front legs, but they are set and have never bothered her in the least. This girl struck a chord with us; she has very expressive eyes and a lot of heart, making us believe she is very deserving of consideration! $500, with special considerations to a great home. Adele Bennett 585-738-0156. |

Back in the Listings!! PA-T1665-01 Ghostly Spirit, 2003 bay mare, 16.2 ½ hands. EVENTERS TAKE NOTE! A lovely, athletic mare with a strong, balanced build, this is the type of prospect that will be quickly snapped up. Built to be a nice mover with a big imposing shoulder and hind end… and great angles – this horse will make someone very happy! Spirit has been with her trainer for over two years and it is easy to see that this she has firmly rooted herself in his heart, becoming his barn favorite. He says she is great to work with, athletic and has been quite successful for him. Please note, this sweet mare had a bad experience knocking her hip on her stall door (NO injury, though) and is currently apprehensive about entering and exiting her stall, but she is a bold mare and super pleasant to handle and great to work on when she in the stall, so a little patient handling will quickly remedy the situation. JUST GORGEOUS and IMPRESSIVE! UPDATE 9/6/10: Spirit has been training under a new trainer for the past few months, is doing great, but it's time to find her a non-racing home... more goregous than ever! $1000. Gus Harigeorgiou 717-395-0768. |

PA-T1817-08 Perfect Game, 2000 bay gelding, 16.0 hands. What a SWEETHEART! “Skippy,” as he is affectionately known, has always been the quintessential “good guy.” In fact, one of the outriders at Penn always referred to him as “the happiest horse on the track” because he was always so agreeable and eager to work! His track days are behind him, he stopped racing two years ago and has had quite a bit of after track training including working as a Pony Horse at the track, trail riding and ring riding! He has been ridden both English and Western and has started neck reining. He is a gentleman in the tack, no buck, no rear, not a spooky guy and he’s seen some exciting things on the trail. His trainer is beyond in love with this horse, unfortunately she can not afford to keep him any longer and wants to find someone who will fuss over and adore him as much as she does. A real pleasure with a beautiful, classy head and expression! What a LOVE! $2499. Babette Muzzy 717-813-5031. |
PA-T1816-08 Uptoheavnnbakagain, 2007 chestnut gelding, 15.2 hands. FUN, FUN, FUN! This is a cute, young prospect with a good mind and an athletic, muscular build. He has a big shoulder and good angles in his hind end with lovely proportions, making him a very nice Hunter style mover! His trainer said he never does anything wrong and has a personality that would be very suitable for kids and amateurs! A super sweet horse with an amusing expression, we think he’d be a memorable addition to anyone’s farm. An A.P. Indy grandson, this guy comes from a long line of racing and sport horse athletes! No issues what-so-ever, SOUNDer than a dollar and no mileage on this one! $1000. Stephanie Tate 717-645-3907. |
PA-T1815-08 Elegant Cad, 2006 bay colt, 15.2++ hands. International Superstar! Here’s a rare find, a horse who ran both in Europe and the US… how cool is that! With only 25 starts, this guy had an impressive career earning well over $136,000! Son of Chapel Royal (Buckaroo grandson), with other greatly notable names in his pedigree such as: Seattle Slew, Damascus, Mr Prospector and Lord Gaylord, this one would make a lovely stallion prospect. At the same time, this guy has a gentlemanly air with a big, kind eye that makes us think if he was gelded he would be a lovely pleasure/Hunter prospect. So many options! Please note, Elegant Cad does have two bowed tendons; the right front being more prominent than the other. He has been racing on both bows without issue until he came back from his last race ever so slightly sensitive. His trainer has decided it’s in the horse’s best interest to retire into a less strenuous career! We did watch him jog the day after that race and he was a splendid mover; long-strided, with soft suspension! A muscular, impressive colt, this guy is a SUPER HUNK! $2000. Brandon Jenkins 512-429-0535. |

UPDATE 8/28/10 - Price Reduced and New Phone Number!! PA-T1806-08 Big Phantom, 2006 bay gelding, 16.2 hands. Big is right! This guy has nice size, good length of neck and a solid hind end. A horse with a huge overtrack and long, deliberate strides, this one could do well in most disciplines. Quiet as can be, we’d consider this guy ideal amateur material and a nice project for anyone. Of course, we’d be negligent if we didn’t mention what a great expression he has! This is a horse whose eyes are kind and honest, the type that you want to see when deciding on a new partner. His trainer is very fond of him and said he often follows him around the shedrow like a puppy. Please note, Phantom does have rounding of the front ankles and a miniscule right front bow, all of which have never been an issue. Trainer said he’s been SOUND as long as he’s known him! $750. Bryan George 717-304-7930. |

SOLD!! PA-T1814-08 Severi, 2003 bay gelding, 16.0 hands. Quiet, quiet, quiet. And not spooky in the least! He loves attention and being worked with and fussed around. Pretty mover - this boy wants to be a hunter. Clean and sound; with only 38 starts in his career, this guy has been well maintained - as witnessed by his career earnings of over $180k in that smaller amount of starts. And very correct conformation to top it all off. Trainer says rides great, everyone loves getting on this boy. Crossties, clips, great to load and trailer. This gorgeous boy is a dream to live with. Back in the Listings! PA-T1744-05 Stormy, 2000 chestnut and white tobiano gelding, approx 14.2 hands. What a HEAD TURNER! Another FABULOUS pony horse at Penn National; Stormy took to the work effortlessly. His first day on the job, he quietly walked off the trailer, his rider mounted, picked up the first horse of the day and jogged him straight to the track, no training required! How many horses can do that??? Comfortable to ride, this guy is soft in the bridle with a nice trot and canter stride, looking like the type that could go all day. His trainer was also quick to demonstrate how responsive he was through numerous transitions and side-passes. On top of that, Stormy is a steady trail horse, the type that doesn’t look at anything! In fact, while we stood there talking, this guy proved himself unflappable as one of the track horses bolted behind him. We love a horse with a good mind! Plus, at his size, he could fit so many riders in so many disciplines! A solid citizen, this guy clips, loads, ties, turns out well with others, is current on shots and shoes and has no vices what-so-ever – doesn’t get much better than that! Don't let him slip away; a STEAL at $1000. David Greenfield 352-316-5093. |

UPDATE 8/21/10: PRICE REDUCED!! PA-T1809-08 Fearless Angelina, 2004 chestnut mare, 14.3 hands. HUNTER, HUNTER, HUNTER! A fancy moving, FLASHY little mare, it'd be a waste for this one not to end up in the show ring. With fantastic length of stride, you’d never notice this girl’s petite stature, she just glides over the ground! A very sweet, easy to handle mare, you can see that she's been shed-rowed by the trainer’s young son with absolutely no need for even a chain lead shank. This is the type of horse who will walk right off the track into a sport horse career! If that wasn't enough, this girl is fantastically bred and should be sought after by breeders looking to upgrade their stock; a Storm Cat grand-daughter out of a Ferdinand (Nijinsky) mare with other notable names such as Carson City (Mr. Prospector) and Damascus. A real sweetheart, what's not to love! 100% SOUND! $2000. Amy Randolph 717-865-8005. |
PA-T1812-08 “Drew”, 2006 bay gelding, 15.3 ½+ hands. Delicate Mover! A lovely, light, airy mover, we think this guy will easily excel as an Eventer or Dressage horse. He’s simply ELEGANT, we’re talking about a super soft level of suspension that gives him a very quiet way of going. At the same time, with a naturally low head carriage and impressive length of stride, we expect Hunter riders will also take interest! We’re told this guy is good to handle but track life is not an ideal match for him, so his trainers are looking to find him a more suitable career… and the options are endless! A real sweetheart with an athletic build, this one could do anything well. He has a great expression and we expect once on the farm he’ll fill out and be a particularly gorgeous animal! A SUPER PROJECT!!! $1000. Marcia Wolfe 717-926-2788 or e mail MarciaW2@aol.com. |

PA-T1813-08 Getty Man, 2006 bay gelding, 16.2 hands. A big, strapping young horse with nice striding and quality movement, this one could excel in ANY discipline. Solid at all three gaits, it'd be easy to bring this one home! A sensible type with a good mind, we think this one will be a breeze to retrain. In fact, we brought him out for his listing and asked if he could be lunged, as his trainer generally presents his horses on the line… well, he said he’d never lunged this guy, but was game for it. Getty obviously took it like a pro and even hopped over a few cross rails – what a WILLING GUY! We think his combination of size, build, movement and level-headedness makes him a fantastic prospect for amateurs and pro’s alike! Please note, this guy has minor rounding of the ankles, but they’ve never been an issue and shouldn’t interfere with any future careers! He also is a very very infrequent cribber, only when eating; but it’s so sporadic he doesn’t even wear a cribbing strap. Sweet Find! $2499. Bobby 717-469-1107 or 717-756-0342. |

UPDATE 8/19/10: PRICE REDUCED!! PA-T1794-07 Thegraygiginthesky, 2006 grey roan gelding, 15.2 hands. This guy will make you smile! Affectionately known as "Giggles" by one of his grooms, The Grey Gig is a sweet guy with a welcoming personality. Nicely built with good bone, a broad chest and solid proportions, we think this one will be a fantastic All-Arounder! A nice moving, soft, hunter type, we really are quite fond of this one. We think he will excel as an amateur horse and be a welcome addition to just about any barn. To top it off, he has a really neat pedigree with Capote (Seattle Slew) and Raise a Native on top, out of a Devils Bag mare - names we like to see in sport horse prospects. No issues or vices what-so-ever, this guy is retiring SOUND; his bags are packed and he's ready to go home with you TODAY! A STEAL!!! $1000. Harry Thompson 717-576-3673. |
PA-T1811-08 Lost N Sound, 2006 bay mare, 15.2+ hands. Nice, straight forward, athletic mare, this one could go in a lot of different directions: Polo, Eventing, Jumpers, breeding, you name it! A kind, soft-eyed mare, we think this girl would love to have a person of her very own. With a nice, powerful shoulder and good proportions, this girl is a solid mover with a nice, all-arounder way of going. We’d consider her the type to do a little of everything well. Nicely bred, this daughter of Lost Soldier (Danzig out of a Secretariat mare) has had a nice career coming in 1-2-3 seven out of sixteen starts. Please note, this young mare has minor rounding of both front ankles, a few knocks on her front legs and an ankle run down from a race last week, meaning she either had interference or stress that caused her ankle to brush the track surface. She has a small open wound right now, but it is already closing and she trotted out very nicely and SOUNDLY for her listing. $1000. Brandon Jenkins 512-429-0535. |

UPDATE 8/15/10: PRICE REDUCED!! PA-T1663-01 Guardian Spirit, 2005 bay mare, 16.0 hands. ELEGANT! It’s said that you can see “class” in a horse, we think this girl perfectly demonstrates that; an A.P. Indy grand-daughter out of a Tabasco Cat mare, this girl has some very notable breeding. With remarkably balanced conformation and a nicely sloped shoulder, this girl will make a nice prospect for any discipline! A good, rhythmic mover, this one is happily retiring SOUND!!! We expect once you gain this mare’s trust, you will have an extremely dedicated, willing partner. Her trainer says that this mare is “the sweetest thing,” and we agree knowing she’d be a fun addition to any barn. Guardian is headed to the farm where she will be turned out, so she will be relaxed and ready for her next career. Plus, it’ll be a great opportunity for buyers to evaluate her, as her trainer will often free lunge her horses in a paddock so you can see all three gaits. Take a look! $450. Jennifer Hamm 717-994-9402. |

SOLD!! PA-T1783-07 Sun's Honor, 2007 chestnut gelding, 15.2 hands. Cute, quiet and easy to ride, this is one sweetheart of a horse. This boy is a real pet to the owner, and it's easy to see why. Just the kindest expression and quietest demeanor, he will make up to be a super nice child's mount for you. Children's hunter deluxe - he's got the look, build, and movement to be very successful. And with his temperament, we certainly can't argue that! The perfect junior or ammy project, he's another youngster who just doesn't show the speed to take on further in his racing career - he has no issues at all, just not fast enough to keep on racing. Trainer's and owner's loss is your gain!!! $1500. Jose Martinez 717-465-0044 or Jen Hamm 717-994-9402. |
PA-T1810-08 Little Indian, 2004 bay gelding, 16.0 hands. DRESSAGE Prospect! A big, expressive mover, this guy will score EXTREMELY well in the dressage arena! Rhythmic and powerful, with suspension, this guy is absolutely STUNNING in motion. We were fortunate enough to see him at all three gaits and just became more and more impressed; we actually think a lot of Hunters will take note of him. A hunky, bulky boy with a lot of substance and a big shoulder, he’s going to do well at whatever you ask. Very sweet and mellow by nature, we think this one will be a total pleasure both on the ground and in the tack. Please note, Little Indian was diagnosed with Capsulitis in his left knee last year, meaning he had some inflammation in his ligaments surrounding the knee; there are no chips or fractures and trainer has x-rays for your review. He’s been rehabbed, is currently SOUND and should be sound for most anything, however his trainer has asked that he not go to a heavy jumping home. In fact, because this guy is a homebred and so near and dear to his trainer’s heart, she’s looking for the perfect situation for him which includes protecting him with a “come back clause,” stating that if at any point in his future he is unwanted, he has the option of being returned to her… can’t ask for more than that! $2499, very negotiable to an ideal home. Stephanie Tate 717-645-3907. |
SOLD!! PA-T1689-03 Mo Mo Mojave, 2005 chestnut colt, 16.0 hands. CHROME overload! Good looks aren’t necessarily everything, but the sure don’t hurt! A total head turner, this gorgeous hunk of a horse gets attention wherever he goes. A nice mover, we’re told Mojave has been ridden around the track in western tack and is as quiet under saddle as he is on the ground. In fact, his trainer says he’s like a pony to ride – very easy and relaxed. Don’t be discouraged by this guy’s colt status, we wouldn’t have guessed it if we wouldn’t have done a visual inspection! Sweet and charming, you’re looking at a very charismatic guy. Geld him or not, your choice, but regardless you’ll have a nice show prospect. Keep in mind, this guy does have minute rounding of both front ankles, but it’s barely noticeable. For his listing he also had a tiny windpuff on his left rear ankle, but his trainer said he had just knocked himself the day before and it should disappear as quickly as it arrived. $1500. Flaco Tejeda 717-554-6464. |
PA-T1808-08 “Peppermint Patty,” 2004 bay mare, 15.3 ½ hands. You guessed it… we have a peppermint junkie here! A super sweet mare who her trainer describes as, “always kind;” it’d be hard not to fall for this one. A big-bodied, broad mare, with a nice, big shoulder and balanced proportions, this girl could excel at anything. A very polite mare, her trainer said she was always the BEST horse she ever ran. Meaning, while race nights tend to be very exciting for horses and generally the most stressful part of the job, this mare was a model citizen, very level headed and sensible. A nice, animated mover with both knee and hock action, we think this girl could be developed into a competitive Dressage horse, Eventer or even Jumper. Always good under tack, we’re told she is good to gallop and hasn’t ever done anything “stupid”. She’s an extremely well-bred mare by Menifee (Storm Cat grandson) out of an Affirmed mare, there are other racing legends in her pedigree such as Spectacular Bid, Raise a Native, Crafty Admiral, Halo, Nasrullah and Tom Fool that should entice breeders. Please note, this girl does have some minor rounding of the ankles but it has never been an issue. Cool Project! $1800 Teddy (Theodora) Jacklin 717-865-6520. |
PA-T1802-07 Battle Mountain, 2006 bay gelding, 15.3 hands. What’s not to love??? This is an awfully handsome horse with a big, powerful shoulder, good length of back and neck and a strong hind end. A Malibu Moon son, this guy comes from a long line of successful racehorses and sport horses! A nice, modern type with good balance, we think this guy will make a nice All-Arounder, being sought after by riders of all disciplines. Nice to handle on the ground, Battle Mountain seems like a very solid prospect with a good mind and honest personality. Please note, this guy is a mild cribber, but is controlled by collar. All Around Nice Guy! $1500. Bob Kotenko 717-571-2491 cell or 717-469-7328 home. |
PA-T1799-07 Our Uncle Pete, 2006 bay gelding, 15.3 hands. Easy on the eyes! WOW, talk about a looker; this guy has the conformation and charisma to be a real head turner. An impressive sport horse prospect in build and type, we’re thinking this guy would excel in Eventing or Jumping with his nicely angulated shoulder and hind end, combined with an uphill, balanced neck… but we know there are hunter riders out there already DROOLING! Either way, I think someone is going to be very happy bringing this one home. No surprise that there are a lot of celebrities in this guy’s pedigree: Devil’s Bag, Secretariat, Clever Trick (Icecapade), Mr Prospector and Native Dancer. Despite his physique and good breeding, Pete prefers EATING to racing so it’s time to find him a new career. Really quite nice! $1500. Richard Lechthaler 717-982-3672. |
PA-T1798-07 “The Shark”, 2006 chestnut gelding, 15.2 hands. First Rate Children’s Hunter Prospect!!! Don’t be fooled by this guy’s name, The Shark is not carnivorous at all and to prove it, his trainer put his hand in The Shark’s mouth to show that this boy is so kind he wouldn’t even consider biting down. A complete SWEETHEART with a great build, this guy looks like he should be walking out of a show barn not a shed row. A dream to handle on the ground and under tack, we really believe this one is going to make an instant transition to the sport horse world. A Patton son, no surprise what a mellow, kind fellow he is. In fact, his trainer mentioned that he uses him for PONY RIDES when his friend’s young daughter comes to visit – impressive for a racing fit horse! On top of that, he is a nice moving horse; a soft landing mover with good length of stride that many Hunter riders could appreciate. His trainer couldn’t stop raving about this horse; he said this is one of few horses you can really trust, particularly at the track, so you can understand why his trainer feels so strongly about him. Please note, this guy does have miniscule rounding of his front ankles; once in a while his left ankle is a little sore after racing but not unsound. Trainer believes it will never impact him in a non-racing home and we agree. We just can’t emphasize it enough; this horse is so so KIND! $2000. Richard Lechthaler 717-982-3672. |
PA-T1797-07 Sea Feather, 2006 grey mare, 15.1+ hands. POLO PLAYERS TAKE NOTE! This lovely mare is a clean slate… no wear and tear, young and SOUND. A beautiful, hunter type mover, this horse has a long, ground-covering stride with great suspension! She was trail ridden as part of her initial backing, loads beautifully and is a great horse to have in the barn. She is easy to ride and gallops beautifully, rounding softly to the bit. With a very sweet, kind expression, this mare is easy to fall in love with. UPDATE 7/31/10: This girl is doing fantastic; she's filling out and has maintained a very nice, balanced build. No soundness issues what-so-ever and a real doll to handle! $2,499. Allen Bonnell 603-512-2739. |

PA-T1692-03 "Frankie", 2001 chestnut gelding, 16.3 hands. FLASHY! Eventers take note - this is a superior athlete who impresses as a very scopey, agile guy that is so adjustable, his trainer says he naturally collects well at all three gaits, while also having a tremendous stride. In fact, he was lunged for us during his listing and he immediately carried himself in an upper level dressage frame, presenting us with suspension and nice length of stride with both knee and hock action. He was also able to collect the canter well enough to comply to a five meter circle. Keep in mind, with this high-powered athleticism comes a sharp, clever mind. His trainer ADORES him and says he is truly neat to ride; she feels someone that can appreciate a horse with a good motor, will absolutely LOVE him… and we agree whole-heartedly!!! Because he is so special to his trainer and they’ve had a six-year partnership, she’s looking to find him the perfect home. Frankie left the track several months ago, has been let down and is ready to go to work for you tomorrow! Please note, this guy did have one knee chip removed from each knee as a youngster (one as a 4 year old, the other as a 5 year old); his knees never bothered him since and he’s gone on to have a successful career. $1000, with special considerations to the right home. Amy Randolph 717-865-8005. |

SOLD!! PA-T1796-07 Lil Red Rendezvous, 1999 chestnut mare, 16.0 hands. Sweeter than candy... heck, she's sweeter than a double fudge, triple-layer, German chocolate cheesecake! Seriously though, this girl has a fantastic personality and her trainer describes her as "THE kindest thing in the world!" We have to agree; once you meet this girl, you'll have to bring her home, that's all it is to it! A mellow mare, she's been off the track for two years so she's already adjusted to farm life and is super quiet to handle. She had one baby last year and proved to be a fantastic mommy so she could easily continue as a broodmare or quickly transition into a riding career. We've been told she's ALWAYS been a quiet, quiet mare. In fact, when she was sent to be backed as a youngster, the rider asked, "are you sure she hasn't been broke already?" We think one would be an ideal kid's horse or amateur project. She has a very big, expressive step and is quite flashy to watch! Take her home, give her a few beauty parlor treatments, put her back to work and you'd have a great local Hunter horse and Trail partner! We really think a lot of this one, she's a total DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! $500. Norm Reagan 717-865-6839. |

SOLD!! PA-T1795-07 Up Over Yonder, 2005 chestnut gelding, 16.0 hands. Charming! A classically built thoroughbred with awesome breeding; you're looking at an A.P. Indy grandson out of a Black Tie Affair mare, which explains his flashy, dignified, well-bred look. A great HUNTER type with nice self-carriage and balance, this is one we'd pick out as a solid prospect. A nice, long-strided mover with a big overtrack, we expect him to have three good gaits. We're told he's great to handle and sensible both on the ground and in the tack. He has absolutely no vices or issues, trailers well and is an all-around good guy. Please note, this guy does have old pin-fired marks from when he was a youngster, long before the trainer ever started working with him, obviously it's never been an issue. Nice Find! $1000. Ed Phelps 410-913-8422. |

PA-T1793-07 Judgment,2006 bay gelding, 16.0 hands. Breath-taking expression! We think this guy’s biggest asset is his super soft, kind eye with dark black points… wow, one look and your heart will melt. An all-around nice type; if you are looking for a great HUNTER or pleasure mount who travels in a long, soft frame, with a naturally low head carriage, this is your guy! A Deputy Minister grand-son with Danzig and Mr Prospector in his pedigree, Judgment was bred to be athletic. His trainer spends a lot of time with him and is dedicated to making his life comfortable and balanced; she has done some Natural Horsemanship work with him, as well as more traditional training techniques so we expect he’ll make a smooth transition into a sport horse home. SOUND, his trainer assures us he’s “never taken a bad step!” As an added plus, this guy has fresh shoes (great feet) and has recently been seen by the dentist, so his maintenance is up to date! Great home a must! $1500. Lynne Boeckelmann 717-469-8145. |

PA-T1786-07 R We Lucky, 2004 bay mare, 15.3 hands. A great prospect with great looks, great disposition, and great breeding. She has the build and pedigree to be competitive in any discipline you choose. And she has the mind to do it all very well! She is very sweet and very quiet and loves to be fussed over. She's the trainer's pet and it shows. She will stand forever for anything and even ground ties outside to be worked on. She is a nice mover with a very nice way of going. She's been with trainer for a couple of years and has no issues at all - a very sound girl to take home and have a lot of fun with. $700. Mario Rodriguez 717-288-5343. |

PA-T1787-07 Valentino, 2003 year old, paint gelding, approx 15.3 hands. ULTIMATE “WILL DO” ATTITUDE! There’s nothing this guy won’t try for you; very well-trained, Valentino happily rides both English and Western, excelling at basic dressage, trail riding, Team Penning and as a PONY at the track! If that wasn’t enough, he’s started over cross-rails and is ready to move on to bigger and better fences. A super sensible, kind horse, we think this one has a personality that with a little mileage would be perfect for kids and amateurs. No vices or issues whatsoever, this guy trailers to the track daily and eagerly does his job. In fact, his trainer RAVED about him saying, “NOTHING spooks him!” Great fun! $2499, reasonable offers or trades welcome! David Greenfield 352-316-5093. |

PA-T1785-07 No Parking Zone, 2006 bay mare, 15.3 hands. With a huge shoulder and uphill build, this girl should excel in any sporthorse discipline you please. Very well balanced and well put together, she has what it takes to be successfull in a competitive sporthorse career. She also has the breeding to then pass that right on to her sporthorse babies! Grab this girl now - you've got the complete double with her - competing now and breeding later! No issues at all - she trains well in the morning but just doesn't want to run anymore at night. $2,499. Henry Jacovino 717-865-0832 house or 717-269-5497 cell. |
PA-T1782-07 Rjay, 2007 bay gelding, 16.2 hands. Tall and handsome, this guy has everything it takes to make up to be your next superstar sporthorse. Size, bone, movement, breeding, and disposition - he's also only three with NO starts so waiting for a new career! Another trainer/owner homebred, history comes complete with this boy as well. He's got lots of suspension and impulsion when trotted in hand - and super self carriage, so will do very well in the dressage phase of his eventing career. He has an old scar on the outside left rear above the ankle from knocking it under a stall board, which happened early in his two year old year, but it is purely superficial and not a work injury and will have no effect on him at all. Another one the owner will guarantee as sound! $2,499. John Wames 717-648-7570. |
PA-T1781-07 Gunner Valley, 2007 bay colt, 15.2 hands. Barely a stitch of white on this boy, but he is cute, cute, CUTE!!! Just look at that face and expression! - he's just begging for someone to take him home and turn him into the perfect little show ring hunter. He's an owner/trainer homebred, so all the history comes with him. NO STARTS - he doesn't show the speed so owner says there's no point in racing him. He's a very cute mover and carries himself very well; he's ridden by a young green exercise rider with no problems at all. Sounds like a super easy reschool to us! No issues other than an old minor right bucked shin and trainer/owner guarantees this boy 100% SOUND! $1,000. John Wames 717-648-7570. |
SOLD!! PA-T1779-06 He's A Ruckus, 2007 bay gelding. 15.3 hands. With only 1 start under his belt, trainer has already decided this guy is just not a race horse. He's built like a QH; stocky with a lot of substance. He's very sweet and loves attention. He has no issues or injuries and is a good mover. Nice big feet on this boy and he's an easy keeper. $400. Kelli Sanders 610-780-6996 or e mail windswept104@comcast.net. |
SOLD!! PA-T1778-06 Bestfriendsforever, 2006 chestnut gelding. 15.3 hands. Lightly raced model with only seven starts. He's a pretty mover and trainer says good to ride. He has a small bow on left front and has had time off at the farm. He is ready to start riding and retraining. A nice hunter or dressage prospect. Pics don't do him justice!! $500/Nego to good home. Kelli Sanders 610-780-6996 or e mail windswept104@comcast.net. |

PA-T1734-05 Raja Daja, 2006 bay mare, 15.3 hands. A very light, airy mover! This mare was super pleasant and cooperative for her listing, making us think this one will make a nice amateur project. 100% SOUND, her trainer has had this horse for two years and assures us she’s never had an issue; she’s just not competitive at Penn and he’d like to find her a more suitable career. An athletically built horse, this girl could go in a lot of different directions and seems to have the mind to cross disciplines well. Her trainer also said she is “quiet and gentle,” the type anyone can work with, and we agree – great to see at her young age! Please note, Raja Daja does have miniscule rounding of her ankles, but it is barely noticeable and has never bothered her in the least! More impressive in person! $900. Bob Kotenko 717-571-2491 cell or 717-469-7328 home. |
PA-T1767-06 Golden Tree, 2006 chestnut mare, 15.3 hands. Cute POWERHOUSE! This girl has an imposing shoulder that just oozes athleticism and strength. A surprisingly nice mover, this one covers ground in style! We’re talking about a mare with a FLASHY stride, great reach in the shoulder with suspension – she’s a total head turner! To add to that, she has a body style that makes us think she’s going to be super nice over fences. And if you are thinking long-term, Golden Tree is an A.P. Indy grand-daughter; she could easily have a great sport horse career and then retire as a broodmare! Does it get any better than that? Super sweet, with a great personality, we think this girl will be a real pleasure to handle. No issues or vices! $1200. Jose Martinez 717-465-0044 or Jen Hamm 717-994-9402. |

PA-T1766-06 Yes Money, 2006 bay gelding, 16.2 hands. A Dream Boat! Big, strapping, young horse, this guy could be a fantastic prospect. You could really go in any direction with him; he has particularly nice size bone and girth, with a bulky shoulder, which would be an asset in any discipline. No surprise he is a solid mover with good length of stride, impressing us as a big field hunter or jumper type; although in all sincerity we think a lot of riders would be happy with this one. To us, the most impressive aspect of this horse is his KIND expression; his trainer says, “he does not have a mean bone in his body” and we think he’s being modest! With only 14 starts in his career, Yes Money has very low miles and no issues whatsoever. Trainer says he’s 100% SOUND and from what we saw, we agree. Please note, Yes Money has had tie-back surgery and is doing fantastic; you’ll never have an issue there, but feel free to discuss with trainer. $2000. Shaun Baker 717-460-8857. |

PA-T1765-06 Killarny Township, 2005 bay mare, 15.2 hands. Just Darling! This super cute girl has an expression that will melt your heart. A nice type, we think this one could make a nice children’s hunter or all-around horse. A solid mover who consistently tracks up, this girl is no slouch! She has been turned out for the past three months, so she’s had a chance to relax and let down, meaning she’ll be ready to go to work for you! Please note, this girl has pinfire marks - trainer said she came with them, so they are cosmetic and she is completely sound. LOVELY! UPDATE 7/25/10: Killarny was out on trial and jumping extremely well; unfortunately, she had a few abscesses that were slowing down her training, so her trainer agreed to take her back, turn her out and make sure the abscesses are 100% healed. $1200. Murray Rojas 717-644-3413. |

PA-T1758-06 Outside Call, 2005 chestnut gelding, 15.2 hands. SUBLIME! A fantastic HOMEBRED, this guy has everything going for him. You know we LOVE homebreds, these are horses who have been with their owner/trainer their entire lives so you get a full history on each AND in this case, his dam, sire and siblings! This guy has been given a great start in life, raised in huge pastures with other babies, backed both in an arena and also ridden around the farm, then brought into the track to finish his training, what an ideal set-up! A super nice, hunter type, this one impresses as a perfect Amateur or kid’s horse. Very sweet, very quiet with a good mind, this guy seems like the type that would do anything for you! His trainer told us she really enjoys working with him; he’s very well-mannered with absolutely no vices or issues and is current on his teeth, shoes and shots! A real sweetheart! $1000. Dona Albright 717-861-4183. |
PA-T1757-06 Fly So Far, 2003 bay gelding, 16.1 hands. Total Knockout! Talk about a hunk of a horse, this guy is eye candy! With nearly $200,000 in earnings over a relatively low number of starts, this boy is the model of athleticism. A Holy Bull son, you are looking at a horse who is ALL CLASS!!! Trainer is so, so fond of this one and feels he’s deserving of retirement; she says he has “clean” legs and that the vet has described the horse as having, “joints of a two year old!” Quite a statement for a horse that has had a successful career! We were impressed by his build and expression, believing he could go in any direction. On top of that, he has a nice overtrack! Great home a must for this one. $2000, with special considerations to the perfect home! Murray Rojas 717-644-3413. |
PA-T1675-02 My Luc Mandy, 2006 bay gelding, 15.1 ¾ hands. AWESOME CHILDREN’S HUNTER!!! This guy is a total steal! An ideal amateur project with a super quiet, super easy personality and a great build, this is the type that will make anyone look good! On top of a fantastic disposition, this guy has a huge overtrack and a nice, long, ground-covering stride, which will serve him well in the show arena. He has been with his trainer for the past two years and says he is just KIND, KIND, KIND, and she suspects he’d make a perfect kid’s horse. He also impresses as the type that would be a fantastic trail horse, this guy is as unflappable as they come. In fact, he was so laid back he saw no point in jogging much for his listing – making it easy to understand why he’s not been very successful at the track. With a cute, innocent expression, we suspect people will just fall in love with this one. TOTALLY SOUND, with only four starts; whoever buys this one will score big! A STEAL at $500! Teddy Jacklin 717-865-6520. |
PA-T1736-05 Thunder Fox, 2001 bay gelding, 15.2 hands. Pleasure Project! Thunder has been with his current trainer for the past three years, she’s really fond of him and says he is totally quiet, EASY and COMFORTABLE to ride! In fact, she has hopped on him bareback in the past and said he was a perfect gentleman. Please note, this horse was slightly off behind for his listing; trainer has had him evaluated, but isn’t quite sure what is going on; she says he doesn’t seem body sore, but he does warm up out of it and she feels he would be best served to have a little turn out time. He has been at the track most of his life and is definitely ready for a new career! Deserving of retirement, Thunder has earned over $150,000 in 46 starts and has been going strong. Take him home today! $500. Stacy Cooper 717-926-9300. |

PA-T1742-05 High Yield Rate, 2007 dark grey roan gelding, 15.3+ hands. Perfection wrapped up in a unqiue attention grabbing color! - this guy has it ALL!!! We just couldn't take our eyes off of him when doing his listing. And to top it off, his pedigree has loads of great minded names that will make this guy an absolute joy to reschool. He is very, very friendly with an in your pocket personality - he just loves to be worked with. And we're told he is an awesome ride to top it all off! He stood like a dream for his listing and has a lot of maturity for such a youngster. And he has NO STARTS. He has some minute filling around the tendons in front, but is completely sound and not bothered by it. Trainer really hates to part with this classy boy, but would like to see this guy rehomed before any more wear and tear is incurred. He is a very correct and very nice mover. Great build, great look - fancy, fancy boy! $2,499. Ronnie Tarmon 717-877-3727. |
