"Lily" is an absolutely beautiful three year old filly.  Already standing 16.1 (estimated) with several years left to grow, she will be a big girl with the athletic potential to match her size.  Lily retired from racing after only five starts due to a very minor injury (and lackluster racing performance) that has healed very well and should cause her no further issues. This filly shows a ton of athletic potential and should really shine in a jumping discipline.  We feel she is best suited for the experienced rider or trainer due to her age, potential, and energy level.

Lily is a very smart filly who will be wonderful when given some direction and structure.  Already she has developed a winning personality and is always the first to greet us in the mare field.  She is a very pretty mover, light and fluid on her feet (viewed from the front, she does paddle a little).  She should be sound for all disciplines and her foster caretaker reported that she can jump quite well (discovered quite by accident when she jumped out of the ring to go join her friends - she does not like being kept alone!).  Lily has not yet been restarted under saddle - due to her young age we felt it best she get some time to grow and just be a horse.  We recommend her to very experienced riders at this time as she is very young, very green, and has lots of energy!  However as she is an intelligent and willing horse she should be very trainable.

Physically Lily has no issues other than having been retired for a bowed tendon.  This was a very slight and small injury - only a week after coming from the track the vet cleared her for turnout.  The injury is set and cold, as well as hardly noticeable.  She has been quite sound since her arrival at our farm and is also doing well barefoot.

Lily's race owner/breeder did have her branded for identification purposes.  This is a freeze brand (white hair) on the right side of her neck reading "43."
