Back in training-Chaffee John
Chaffee John is a handsome 2004 model. He is a dark bay gelding and is 16.2 hands. Chaffee John is by Sahm, out of Hasty Lass and has a decent pedigree. John last raced in November 2011 and his owner would like to retire him and find him a great new career. John is sound and a wonderful mover with a great, big stride. He has a small white circle on his rear which reminds us of Big Brown:) His handler says he is very quiet and has no vices except that he is a very mild cribber but only when waiting for dinner. She feels that with additional turn out and down time it wont be an issue. John would do well in any discipline with some additional schooling. He would make for an excellent dressage prospect, hunter/jumper or for show. John trailers well, stands great for the farrier and will do just about anything for a peppermint. He really likes being around people and does well with other horses. Chaffee John is currently enjoying some much needed turn out and is stabled in Prospect KY. He is looking for that perfect forever home!
$1,000-this is steal of a deal for this horse. Hurry and call now as he woukd make a great addition to any barn.

Update: Much to our disappointment Chafee John has been sold to a trainer in ND for racing!
