Back in training-Harley's Cat is an adorable, very dark bay gelding,almost black with lots of chrome. He is a 2009 model and 15.1 hands. Harley is by Catienus and out of Lady Day and has a fantastic pedigree. He is grandson to Storm Cat and has Mr. Prospector, Northern Dancer, Secretariat, Raise A Native and Bold Ruler in his blood lines. Harley has only raced 4 times in his career and is being retired 100%sound. His trainer is retiring him because he is just not suited to be a race horse but he has a wonderful stride with very fluid movement. Harley has nice conformation and clean legs with no previous injuries. He has lots of energy and would do well with a “job” to focus on. He would need an intermediate to experienced handler to help transition him to a new career. Harley has no vices, trailers well and is an easy keeper. His trainer says he does nothing wrong and could really excel in a career outside of racing. She thinks he would make for a great eventer or polo prospect because he enjoys running.
