SOLD-State Charmeris a stunning, three year old, light bay gelding with chrome. He is already 16.3 hands  and will be a giant once he fills out and grows even taller. State Charmer is by State City and out of Euracharmer.  He has a nice pedigree and his grandfather is Carson City. Charmer (as he is known at the barn) has only raced four times and is not suited to be a race horse so his trainer would like to find him a great new home and career. He loves to race and has a lot of athleticism and speed but doesn’t close well when  running in a pack. Charmer has very clean legs, with no blemishes and is 100% sound. His trainer says he has beautiful movement and looks like he is floating when he is in motion.  Charmer responds well to command, is super broke and well trained. He likes competition and is a bit of a show off but also very sensible.  Charmer is charming and has a great personality. He is sweet, intelligent, inquisitive and an out of your pocket kind of guy. His trainer says that anyone could ride him and that he has never done anything wrong. Charmer has no vices, trailers well and likes attention. He would probably need an intermediate to experienced handler to help transition him to a new career. Charmer has a great work ethic so he would be suitable for a variety of disciplines. His trainer thinks he would make for a great eventer, hunter/jumper or show horse because he has lots or presence and stamina. Charmer is located at Turfway Park and looking for that perfect forever home where he can excel in a new trade.
