SOLD-Hernandini is an athletic and charming 16 hand bay gelding that is a 2008 model. He is by Equinox and out of My Night Light. He has a nice pedigree with Unbridled, Mr. Prospector, Northern Dancer, Deputy Minister and some nice European linage as well. Hernandini has had only 12 starts in his racing career and last raced in December 2011. He bowed his left front tendon in February while training. It was a mild bow and was given 45 days of stall rest to heal. 2 sets of X-rays are available for review and the tendon has now healed. Currently Hernandini is being turned out and jogged daily. His trainer could continue racing him but has decided to transition him to a new career instead.Hernandini is a very sweet and gentle horse that has a wonderful disposition. His trainer says he is great around kids, has good ground manners and no vices. She says he is playful but also focused when presented with a task and would do well with a job to focus on as he is an athletic and intelligent horse with alot of energy. Hernandini would be best suited for an intermediate to experienced handler. His trainer thinks that Hernandini would do well as a dressage, show or hunt seat prospect. He is being boarded at a private farm in Paris KY.
