CANTER stands for "The Communication Alliance to Network Thoroughbred Ex-Racehorses". The California chapter of CANTER began in 2008. We service all California race tracks, offering free services to race horse owners and trainers to help them find new non-racing homes for retiring thoroughbreds. We also list quarter horses who are retiring from the track!
